Children's Classes & Ministry
Our children's classes use the "Grow, Proclaim, Serve" Curriculum. Using this program, we want the children to:
• Grow in Faith
• Proclaim the Word of God
• Serve God and Neighbor
Our focal scripture verse is:
"Your faithfulness is growing by leaps and bounds, and the love that all of you have for each other is increasing." (2 Thessalonians 1:3)
The monthly sessions begin with a Bible verse and a main idea called a "Leap of Faith.” The curriculum is presented in age appropriate lessons that include the Bible story, crafts, music, a short video, and/or games.
Children need to be picked up promptly by a parent or designated adult, so our leaders can go to worship services. The exception is the three-year-old class, which stays in the same room, with paid staff, during the Worship services.
Children's Church 11:00 am worship service
Children are asked to sit with their parents during the beginning of the 11:00 am worship services. At the appropriate time, children will leave the worship area, with designated adults, to walk to the Children's Church classroom - Room 162.
Children must be picked up by a parent or designated adult immediately following the worship service.
