Children's Classes & Ministry
Sunday School Classes
Our classes include:
Our Children's Classes are using the "Grow, Proclaim, Serve" Curriculum from Abingdon Press.
In this program we want the children to:
Our focal scripture verse is:
"Your faithfulness is growing by leaps and bounds, and the love that all of you have for each other is increasing." (2 Thessalonians 1:3)
Each month the sessions begins with a Bible verse and a "Leap of Faith" that is the main idea for the month. The curriculum is presented in age appropriate lessons that include the Bible story, crafts, music, a short video, and/or games.
Children need to be picked up by a parent or designated adult so our leaders can get to the Worship services. The exception is the 3 year old class, which stays in the same room, with paid staff, during the Worship services.
Children are asked to sit with their parents during the beginning of the 11:00am Worship services. At the appropriate time the children will leave the Worship area, with designated adults, to walk to the Children's Church classroom - Room 162.
Children's Church uses the Large Group the "Grow, Proclaim, Serve" curriculum from Abingdon Press. Although the main lesson is the same as the one covered in Sunday School, the crafts, games, and other activities are different.
Children must be picked up by a parent or designated adult immediately following the worship service.
The nursery opens at 9:30 on Sunday mornings and remains open until the conclusion of the 11:00am Worship services.
Nurseries are also offered for Wednesday evening programming. Older Children (up to age 11) are allowed to stay during the Wednesday night events with prior arrangements.
Other Church Activities
Nursery may also be provided for other church activities including choir rehearsals, Bible studies, meetings, etc. with prior arrangement.
Our Wednesday nigh suppers provide a way for your family to get together with your church family for faith, food, and fellowship during the school year.
We offer family-friendly outings during the year - watch for announcements in our bulletins and web site.
Covered Dishes and Best Wishes
